djinn: In Muslim legend, a spirit often capable of assuming human or animal form and exercising supernatural influence over people.
leprechaun: One of a race of elves in Irish folklore who can reveal hidden treasure to those who catch them.

harpy: One of several loathsome, voracious monsters with the head and trunk of a woman and the tail, wings, and talons of a bird. (has other meanings though like a shrewd woman, lol...)
chimera: The Chimera was a fire-breathing she-monster made up of the front parts of a lion, the middle parts of a goat, and the tail of a snake.
